At the conference, leading international scientific research authorities, including Dr. Geert PJ. Janssens from Ghent University; Zhao Wei, Vice Dean of the Faculty of Food Science and Technology at Jiangnan University; Richard Taylor, co-founder of Weta Workshop; Liu Lang, president of the Pet Industry Branch of the China Animal Agriculture Association and the Asia Pet Association (APA); and Nicholas Tse (Xie Tingfeng), the brand spokesperson, gathered to discuss an industry transition that integrates scientific research, smart manufacturing, public welfare, and culture.
Du Xinfang, CEO of GAMBOL Pet Group, stated at the conference that the core of Myfoodie’s upgrade is to make implicit scientific research capabilities explicit and standardized, and formally introduced a "Data Sovereignty" strategy. By establishing the WarmData, Dogs and Cats Instinct Big Data Research Center, Myfoodie is transforming fragmented, non-standardized pet care experiences into quantifiable, replicable, and verifiable scientific data assets.
Qin Hua, Chairman of GAMBOL Pet Group, announced the creation of the Myfoodie Companion Animal Public Welfare Foundation. The foundation will concentrate on three main areas: supporting scientific research, promoting scientific feeding for stray animals, and developing professional talent, fulfilling its public welfare goals through scientific expertise.
Qin emphasized that dogs and cats cannot express their needs verbally, and the true kindness of technology lies in accurately understanding and carefully addressing the needs of companion animals — a philosophy closely aligned with Aker QRILL Company’s dedication to quality and health empowerment.
He also mentioned that by leveraging the world’s first digital life library — the WarmData Dogs and Cats Instinct Big Data Research Center — Myfoodie will transform the physiological instincts developed over tens of thousands of years of evolution into measurable and scientifically verified nutritional standards, thereby creating a competitive industry advantage centered on "Data Sovereignty".
Nicholas Tse (Xie Tingfeng), Myfoodie’s brand spokesperson, also attended the conference and shared his genuine experience with Myfoodie products. He emphasized that Myfoodie’s dedication to clean, transparent ingredients and traceable raw materials gives consumers great confidence in its product quality.
He also revealed that he had personally tasted Myfoodie pet food and could directly perceive its high quality from its aroma and texture.
As a key raw material supplier and global strategic partner of GAMBOL Pet, Aker QRILL Company has consistently supported GAMBOL Pet’s R&D and production with high-quality products.
Since establishing the partnership, Aker QRILL Company has utilized its technological strengths in Antarctic krill harvesting and a strict full-process quality control system to continuously supply GAMBOL Pet with premium raw materials, including food-grade Antarctic krill meal and krill oil (astaxanthin oil). Together with GAMBOL Pet, the company has developed a series of safe, healthy, and high-quality pet products that are widely recognized by the market and consumers.
"It is a great honor to witness this strong moment for GAMBOL Pet on site," said Bjørn Wallentin, Senior Vice President of Aker QRILL Company.
"GAMBOL is not only a leader in China’s pet food industry, but also a partner driving the coordinated development and progress of the industry supply chain.
Myfoodie’s brand upgrade has given us a clearer vision of the future direction of the pet food industry toward science, refinement and ecology, and we look forward to further deepening our cooperation."
